Warp and take-up

Our plug and play solution for textile looms is able to control the warp unwinder and the fabric winder (take-up).

Thanks to the GWC controller, the system is able to ensure perfect synchronism between the two operations, as well as the fully automatic management of the variation of one or more weaving parameters, resulting in high weaving regularity - even in the face of a dynamic change of parameters, such as weft density, warp tension and fabric winding.

The solution can be customized and it is suitable for simple installation both on modern looms, as it can interface with PLCs with fieldbus (Profibus, Devicenet, Canopen, Modbus), and on mechanical looms without a PLC.
Our solution can feature both Brushless motors and closed loop stepper motors, to reduce the costs while maintaining high performance.

Main characteristics:

  • High performance/cost ratio thanks to the use of closed loop stepper motors or AC Brushless motors.
  • Simplified machine wiring with fieldbuses.
  • Drives with STO for machine safety.
  • Initial calibration procedures performed directly by the drive (homing).
