Pasta packaging process is very important for the quality of the pasta itself: a precise and controlled movement of the machine prevents the product from undergoing variations.
Motors with encoder and IP65 protection, in closed loop for high duty cycles, combined with vectiorial stepper drives with EtherCAT interfaces - perfectly compatible with Omron PLC -, that's our ready-to-use solutions for long pasta packaging machines.
Motorized control of spaghetti picking, weighting and packing
To motorize the control of spaghetti packing we propose a flexible solution with an optimized performance/price ratio.
Specifically, our complete solution is:
- SW4 stepper drive with EtherCAT interface, for a quick exchange of commands and working parameters;
- Nema 24 and Nema 34 stepper motors with incremental encoder closed loop feedback for the heavy-duty axes; for simplier axes a open loop solution is enough.
The solution controls the foundamentals steps of the packaging process: cardboard conveying, box forming, filling and closing, the possible labelling, and packaging process quality checks.
